Service Overview
An analysis of a candidate's recent banking activity, used to assess financial stability and income patterns. With the candidate's consent, the service connects directly to their financial institution to retrieve transaction-level data.
What's checked?
Cash inflows, account activity, revenue variability, and source of deposits, evaluated to identify indicators such as recurring income, account balances, and spending behaviour. Where the data available is insufficient, the analysis reports that the check could not be completed rather than returning a partial result.
How does it work?
The candidate authorizes a secure, encrypted connection to their financial institution through Flinks, our banking connection partner, and transaction data is retrieved directly from the bank rather than self-reported or submitted manually.
Flinks can only connect to a select number of financial institutions in Canada and the United States. You can view the list of supported institutions by clicking here: supported institutions.
Note: This connection is read-only. Trustii never has access to funds, passwords, or login credentials.
When to use it?
Built for roles involving financial responsibility, expense management, or access to company funds. Because the data comes directly from the candidate's bank, it supports assessing financial reliability using verified information rather than self-reported figures.
A credit score alone doesn't always reflect someone's actual ability to meet financial obligations. Banking analysis looks at real income and spending rather than solvency indicators alone, giving a more complete picture of financial capability.
